Max Dega & Angelo Leadbelly

In the "small but vibrant world" of Ticino blues, Max Dega, finalist of the 2013 Swiss Blues Challenge, has long been an absolute reference: as a talented guitarist, bandleader, and highly regarded session musician. Max Dega started playing guitar at the age of 16. His ability to effortlessly switch between electric and acoustic guitars makes him a versatile guitarist, shining in both acoustic and electric performances.

He is accompanied by the Italian guitarist and singer Angelo "Leadbelly" Rossi. Bearing the nickname of one of the great bluesmen of the past and carrying on his musical legacy is a significant responsibility for any musician. However, Angelo Rossi lives up to the name with his remarkable musical versatility, blending the sacred expressiveness of gospel with the evocative Delta blues, all while showcasing a playful and ironic stage presence as a performer.
